Dr. Toni Stevens Registered Psychologist

Dr. Stevens graduated with her doctorate degree in clinical psychology in 1987 from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. Though originally from Montreal, Quebec, she lived and worked in a variety of agencies and institutions in California for thirty years. Her areas of expertise include criminality, substance abuse, sexual abuse, parenting, relationships issues (gay and heterosexual), and women’s issues. Since returning to Canada in 1997, she has worked with individuals, couples and families in various communities in British Columbia through employee family assistance programs. Dr. Stevens has consulted and provided forensic assessments particularly in separation and divorce. She has provided training and service internationally including the Middle East. Dr. Stevens has enjoyed working with people of different ethnic backgrounds and is sensitive to their cultural history.
